After 10 years, EA Sports NCAA25 Football is back! And with that comes rating for players of each team. MSU's roster ratings are underwhelming. I've highlighted a few players below and some thoughts.
I'll start by saying there are some glaring omissions. Here's a breakdown of who is missing and what they likely would have been rated.
RB: Possibly the best player missing is UMASS transfer Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams, who would be mid to low 80's. Frazier is missing as a true freshman, could have been high 60's.
WR: Jaron Glover isn't in the game, and would have been rated between Foster (82) and Marsh (74), maybe around a 78. Antonio Gates Jr. also isn't in the game, and probably around 70.
DL: Ben Roberts, a transfer from Oregon is missing and likely mid 70's. ODU transfer Jalen Satchell is missing and should be low-70's. Nebraska transfer Ru'Quan Buckley is missing, low-70's. Cinci transfer Tyler Gillison is missing, low-70's. IU transfer Anthony Jones is missing, low-70's
LB: Jordan Hall and Cal Haladay. Based on Jordan Turner's 79 rating, I would have expected them to be around the same.
DB: LSU transfer Jeremiah Hughes is missing a should be mid-70's. UCF transfer Nikai Martinez is missing and should be high-70's. UNC transfer Lejond Cavazos is missing and should be mid-70's.
What this means...
I have no idea if or when roster updates will take place. And the missing players aren't unique to MSU. Sometimes, they are replaced by generic-named players with ratings that seem to match.
But for now, MSU's depth is significantly impacted. We have 14 players missing, 10 of whom are in the current 2-deep and not on the roster.
This will be most notable in Dynasty mode, as future years will be missing key players.
So who is rated and a quick thought...

TE Jack Velling – 87 - Nailed it.
RB Nathan Carter – 85 - Fair. But would have taken a generous 87.
